Characters

Haku

Haku

The main protagonist of the game. He awakens in a snowy field and is rescued by a girl named Kuon, who charitably takes him in. After discovering that he remembers nothing about his past, she names him "Haku." While he's intelligent and insightful in various situations, he has a tendency to be lazy and slack off. His physical weakness often makes Kuon worry about him dying on the side of a road if she were to abandon him.

Kuon

Kuon

A beautiful and energetic young woman who saved Haku and gave him his name. She possesses animal-like ears and a tail, and despite her age, she displays incredible skill as an apothecary. Kuon is usually very cheerful and witty, but she can seem distant and aloof at times. Much of her life is shrouded in mystery, but she appears to be traveling to see what the world has to offer.

Nekone

Nekone

Ukon's younger sister, who is considered a child prodigy. Though she looks quite young, she is mature for her age and speaks in a formal manner. Nekone is the youngest person in history to pass the extremely difficult Imperial Exam, and her research focuses on ancient civilizations. She loves sweets and is quite attached to her elder brother.

Ougi

Ougi

Nosuri's devoted younger brother and her right-hand man in leading the Nosuri Thieves. He's still quite young, but he carries himself with politeness, intelligence, and cunning beyond his years.

Nosuri

Nosuri

The high-spirited, voluptuous leader of a band of Robin Hood-style vigilantes she named after herself, the Nosuri Thieves. While she tends to be dramatic, she's also very straightforward and honest with people. Her younger brother Ougi is always by her side, aiding in her various lofty schemes.

Ukon

Ukon

A chivalrous traveler and mercenary captain who Haku and Kuon encounter. He's a little rough around the edges and has a rugged appearance to match, but he's considered a charismatic hero and commands immense respect from his men. Ukon is currently under contract to escort offerings to the Imperial Capital.

Rulutieh

Rulutieh

The youngest princess of Kujyuri, one of several countries that comprise the great empire of Yamato. Despite her shyness and her status as a noble, Rulutieh is charming, graceful, and down-to-earth with those she meets. She appears to be acting as a messenger, accompanying her nation's tribute to the Imperial Capital. She cares deeply for her pet Hororon bird, Cocopo.

Jachdwalt

Jachdwalt

A master swordsman who's carved out quite a name for himself. His swordplay and techniques are so lightning-quick that he's earned the nickname "Mirage Blade" because observers only get a fleeting afterimage of each stroke. He travels the world to hone his craft and answers to no one.

Atuy

Atuy

A kind and cheerful girl with a fearless personality. She's an elegant speaker and is eternally in search of love; she's also extremely skilled and fearsome when wielding a spear. Her pet, Kurarin, can usually be found perched atop her head.

Uruuru & Saraana

Uruuru & Saraana

Much like phantoms, these mysterious and whimsical twins seem to appear and disappear at random. They are nearly identical; Uruuru's fair skin sets her apart from Saraana's tan. They can hide themselves out of sight and use this ability to follow Haku and his comrades, but the reason why is unclear.

Kiwru

Kiwru

The small and friendly prince of Ennakamuy, a nation within Yamato. Kiwru is a bit timid and often painfully naïve, but he fully dedicates himself to his combat training and self-improvement. He shares an oath of brotherhood with Oshtor.

Maroro

Maroro

An Imperial scholar well-versed in magecraft and one of Ukon's companions. He dresses in flashy clothing and makeup like that of an old-fashioned nobleman, and he speaks in a distinctly classical manner.
